Century Old Wedding Cake Sold For 145 Pounds

A small piece of cake from Princess Louise's wedding in 1871, Queen Victoria's fourth daughter, was sold for over 200$US at the Antiques for Everyone fair. I think it's time to collect food and sell them 100 years later to make a profit :-)

" 'I like unusual objects with history,' 'This was obviously treasured by the Royal Family, and I believe things should be treasured and looked after.' "Said the antiques dealer John Shepherd, who bought this rare cake slice. Source

Obviously, it can't be eaten anymore, last time I found a melted candy in my pocket and I threw it away. If I saw this News earlier I could've sold it on eBay...
